Raeleen Draper

Raeleen is the Blue Carbon Technical Lead, Australia for CI Australia and the International Blue Carbon Institute. Raeleen will be spearheading the development of comprehensive blue carbon projects and programs within Australia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. She will also support IBCI’s strategic goals in applied scientific research and innovation, multi-sectoral capacity development, and partnerships. Raeleen gained valuable experience working with a local council to deliver the first blue carbon project to be registered by the Clean Energy Regulator. She also has extensive experience in coastal management, coastal conservation and education through an eclectic career journey which has seen her work with turtles, flying foxes, crocodiles, jellyfish and sharks.
